Love for animals becomes a passion!
Even as a small child, my focus was on animals. Horses were at the very top of my list.
Since I was 3 years old, I have been allowed to breathe in the stable air and take my first rides through the forest on our family pony Max (a Shetland pony).
My love for animals never left me, even into adulthood, and on my 18th birthday my dream of owning my very own riding horse finally came true: a Hanoverian mare named La Vida.
Besides horses, I have always grown up with dogs and can now call 2 dogs in my pack my companions.
Together with my husband, who shares my passion for animals just as much as I do, we decided to found Equimour.
Names with history!
Over the years, I have had many animal companions by my side. We choose the names of our brushes in their honor. For example, the mane brush VIDI is named in honor of my first mare, La Vida.
The products bear the affectionate nicknames that my husband, my family, and I have given our animals over the years. Each Equimour product is therefore a very personal memento honoring a loyal companion.
